Why was the Nile river so important to the Ancient Egyptians?

The Nile river was a river in Egypt that helped the ancient Egyptians in many ways:fishing,planting,traveling,trade,drink and it gave the mud.The mud helped the Egyptians to make houses,sphynx,pyramids,and helped to plant.The process started in July, when the river flooded.In November they planted the seeds and in March they harvested the croops.It is the biggest river in the world.It is 4000 miles long.

  2. The Nile was so important to the ancient Egyptians because the Egyptians only had that river. They could fish there and could also have baths. But what they loved the most about the river Nile was the mud. They loved it because in July it flooded, leaving lots of nutrients behind. After, in November, the river went down, the ancient Egyptians planted seeds. In March, they harvested the crops so they could have food to eat. Also, the ancient Egyptians used the Nile to travel to trade and to drink.

  3. The Nile river was extremely important for the development of the society of the Ancient Egyptians. In a desert region, the river took priority functions in societyr. The Egyptians used the water to drink,fish,plant,take a bath and to travel.
    But the most important thing was the mud. The mud was used to plant,whithout the mud the Egyptians could not eat. The mud was fertile.
    In July the river flooded,In November the Egyptians planted the seeds and in March they harvested the crops.

  5. The Nile River was so important because when it flooded the Egyptians could plant a lot of things like: vegetables, fruits, etc...They could use the water from the river to drink too. They used-it to transport treasures, animals, food, and to exchange goods with other countries.

  21. In my opinion the Nile River was so important for the ancient Egyptians because the river provided water for: fishing,drinking,farming,bath(washing)and all of those things are some of the things that a person needs to survive.
    The ancient Egyptians also used to travel.Ancient Egyptians traveled to trade.One of the most important things was farming.To farm ancient Egyptians waited for the river flood and the mud was fertile.In November ancient Egyptians planted the seeds and after 4 mounths(March) ancient Egyptians harvested the crops.

    It is the biggest river in Egypt and they used the river for traveling and to trade things like: gold, food, etc. They also used the river for fishing.
    The soil around the river was really green and fertile and they could get a good harvest. The river had its cycle: in July it flooded, in November the farmers planted the seeds and in March they harvest the crops.

The Nile River was important to the ancienty Egyptians because it kept them alive and developed their knowledge.They depended on it because the Nile River allowed the Egyptians to plant,fish,drink water,take a bath and travel.It also was important because it was the only mount of water in Egypt,and also the biggest.The most important treasure the Nile gave them was mud,because with mud they could plant to make papyrus and to eat.
    The Nile flooded every July and it stayed like that until November that was the time to plant seeds and finally,they harvested the crops in March.
